Shark Diving in Cabo
Shark Diving in Cabo is one of the best experiences you can have, Pelagic Safari takes you on an underwater adventure, where a rich ecosystem of marine life flourishes. For those with the curiosity to interact with wildlife in its natural habitat, the cold currents of the Pacific Ocean mixing with the warm waters or the Sea of Cortez creates the perfect environment all year round for unique encounters with sharks, sea turtles, dolphins, sea lions, bait balls, orcas and more.
Shark diving / free diving in Cabo has become a popular activity among divers, photographers and ocean lovers from all around the world. Our Cabo Ocean Safari is an adventure of a lifetime in which our main objective is to have a close encounter with sharks. Depending on the time of the year, we may encounter mako, silky, hammerhead or blue sharks.
The Full Day Open Ocean Expedition is completed with dolphins, whales, turtles, huge schools of mobula rays, and everything else the open ocean has ready for us that day.
Under the supervision of our experienced captain and guide, we will set out to open waters searching for encounters with sharks and other marine animals – time to embrace your adventurous nature and get in the water!
There is nothing quite like sharing seemingly infinite, dazzling, blue waters with a wild animal – you are in their element, under their terms – it is a beautiful & life changing experience.
Our Pelagic Safari provides the perfect opportunities to photograph and film highly migratory species like mako sharks, mobula rays and whales. Not a photography expert? Don’t panic, we also offer a professional photographer service to capture your beautiful day and make it last forever – ask us for more information.
Open Ocean Shark and Pelagic Life Safari Expedition (year-round)
Full Day – 8 Hour
We will spend one part of the day focusing on shark attraction and interaction using non-invasive chumming techniques. The remainder of the day and throughout the day, we will also be looking for other pelagic life, and will try to have as much in-water interaction as possible.
Please note: December and January are a great time to see mobula rays, humpback whales, dolphins, and other marine animals, and these months are a bit more difficult to find sharks. Therefore, Full Day Open Ocean Safari Expeditions in December and January may or may not include chumming for Sharks, but please let us know your primary interests and we will plan accordingly if possible for this activity!
Shark Safari (February through November)
Half Day – 4 Hour
For shark lovers who want a chance to swim with sharks, but don’t have the full day available for their schedule, or don’t want to spend the full day out at sea, we offer this 4 hour half day option from February through November. We will be using non-invasive chumming techniques to attract sharks and interact as much as possible with them in the water, always based on conditions and behavior.
Pelagic Safari is a conservation oriented marine life encounter, as member of the Pelagic Fleet our main objective is to communicate to our customers the importance and value of conservation of, not only sharks, but all marine life in Mexico and the world.
