Today was spent exploring the beautiful nature of Los Cabos. We started the day freediving a reef full of life. This reef is the most lively in all of the los cabos area. Tons of juvenile reef fish and invertebrates. We had a lot of fun diving and exploring.
Afterward, we moved to a spot where we had some luck with sharks. We chummed for a long time without any sharks. But we did have the most shearwaters ever (20), if that’s any consolation. They were all over the place and diving for the scraps of chum we were introducing to the water. We jumped into the water to photograph the birds diving under the water, but proved more difficult than we thought. It was a fun challenge. We ended the day discovering the reefs and searching for eagle rays and sharks.
