This week we had our friends Japan flew all the way from Japan to visit Mexico to witness the magical sight of the Mobula Munkiana Migration. We had an amazing week on Safari. Every morning we set out early to find those Mobulas. The Mobulas take advantage of the low sun light and is when they are most active. The migration down form the sea of Cortez has been slow, however we they have arrived in Cabo and are putting on quite a show as the leap out of the water sometimes more than 4ft in the air. When we see them jumping and twisting in the air we get very excited knowing there is likely to be 100s of the below the surface. The whole week we saw many schools of Mobula, big, small and gigantic. We also did some other exploring and shark diving over the week and had some of the most amazing interactions with sharks, one day we had, Mako, Silky and Smooth hammerhead all together.
There is always magic in the ocean of Cabo.
